Short DescriptionThe Hertie School of Governance was founded in 2003 as one of the first German professional schools for public policy. It is a project of the Hertie Foundation, located in Frankfurt / Main. In February 2005, the Hertie School was awarded state recognition as an institution of higher learning by the Berlin Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture. The Hertie School of Governance prepares exceptionally talented students and professionals for leadership roles in today's rapidly changing world.

Additional informations about alumniGraduates of the Master of Public Policy (MPP) and the Executive Master of Public Management (EMPM) programme and former participants in Executive Education seminars together constitute the Alumni Network of the Hertie School of Governance. The network is growing rapidly and is quickly becoming one of the most important parts of the Hertie School of Governance community. The Hertie School of Governance supports the Alumni Network and the work of the Alumni Council through its own Alumni Relations division: Alumni surveys are being conducted to find out more about the current situation of our graduates.
