| Mission statement | The mission of the Graduate School of Governance, Leadership and Public Management is to pursue excellence in the provision of high quality training in leadership, public administration and development management for a diverse participant body through innovative programmes, outstanding faculty and superior facility. |

| Additional information about this programme | The EMPA is a modular programme. It comprises 10 modules, 9 of which are compulsory and 1 optional.
Normally participants will complete the 10 modules in 24 months and then submit the thesis (which is optional) within 6 months after completion of the modules making a total of 30 months. |
