Mission statementThe mission of the Graduate School of Governance, Leadership and Public Management is to pursue excellence in the provision of high quality training in leadership, public administration and development management for a diverse participant body through innovative programmes, outstanding faculty and superior facility.
Main target group(s)The EMPA is a part-time executive program aimed at middle and senior managers from the public sector, NGO and central and local government officials.
Main objectivesThe EMPA is specially designed to equip participants with the knowledge, attitude and skills required by Chief Executives and Administrators to effectively meet the leadership, management and administration challenges of the global world.
Additional information about this programmeThe EMPA is a modular programme. It comprises 10 modules, 9 of which are compulsory and 1 optional.
Normally participants will complete the 10 modules in 24 months and then submit the thesis (which is optional) within 6 months after completion of the modules making a total of 30 months.
